Eden Nature Park and Resort – our first destination for 2019.
We decided to go on a day tour to one of the famous attractions in Davao City. Located at Eden Bayabas Toril, Davao City.
How to get there?
The place is very easy to find so if you have your own car, you can definitely check it on google maps.
But if you’re not familiar in Davao City, you can ride a taxi or request the resort to pick you up.
Planning on commuting?
That’s what we did and it’s super easy!
- From downtown just simply ride a Toril jeep. You can find them at Aldevinco, Roxas (in front of Ateneo de Davao University), near UM Bolton, or at SM Ecoland. (Fare: Php 25)
- Inform the driver to drop you off at Mercury drug in Toril. Once you’re at Mercury drug, ride a tricycle going to Eden Nature Park. Don’t worry, you won’t have a hard time finding them because there’s a big chance that they will be the one to approach you. So haggle if you can. (We didn’t haggle though and end up paying Php 350 for two persons)
- From Eden to Toril, you can still ride a tricycle. This time we only paid Php 200.

We availed there buffet lunch package. The food was good but what I enjoyed the most was the salad. It’s so fresh! So make sure you try it. Unleash the vegetarian side in you. π

Of course, there are some activities that you can have for free.
- enjoy the garden maze (took me a while to get out haha)
- walk through the woods (make sure to get a map)
- watch the different birds
- try Indiana Jones ride
- take pictures of the peacocks around you (they’re everywhere)
- snap a photo of their Instagram-worthy spots

OVERALL
It was fun even though the weather was not really good. When we arrived it was raining. And then, the sun was out for a few minutes and it starts raining again. Finally, around 3 pm the weather calms down and so we are able to do the Guided Shuttle Tour and the Skycycle.
Though it was raining, we managed to play at their playground, walk through the garden maze, and check out the birds and fishing village.
The food in their Vista Restaurant was OK. The service was good. I love our tour guide. And the place was worth it!

Roxas to Toril jeep – Php 25.00
Tricycle Toril to Eden – Php 350.00
Buffet Lunch Day Tour Package – Php 600.00
Guided Shuttle Tour – Php 150.00
Skycycle – Php 200.00

TOTAL: Php 1,525.00 (you can lessen the tricycle expense if you’re going there in a group)
